Pathetic Day is a four-day grouping of punk events across Naarm.

Thursday September 17:

DIY documentary screening of Jawbreaker, the brand-new Anti-Cimex documentary from Tomas Haglund and Oskar Sjodin chronicling the trajectory of the band from their first practices onwards. Location TBC, screening begins at 7:30pm. Cheap vegan dinner will be available on the night.

Friday September 18:

Friday represents the first visit to Naarm from Meanjin blackened hardcore band Shroud, supported by local powerviolence heavy-hitters Persecutor, noise-punk maniacs Fracture, and Geelong's saviours of crust, Zeitgeist.

Doors 8:30pm at Spit. $15 concession/$20 waged presale/ $25 on the door. Free entry for mob, R100+

Saturday September 19:

A day-long showcase of local noisemakers in support of Kanagawa Japan's ecstatic Deathro and Aotearoa's anarcho-hardcore troublemakers Unsanitary Napkin.

Full lineup includes visits from Meanjin's Shroud and Cerebral Erosion, and Ngunnawal/Ngambri's disaffected Negative Mental State.

Doors 1pm at Thornbury Bowls Club. $40 concession/$50 waged presale/$55 on the door. Free entry for mob, R100+

Sunday September 20:

An all-ages afternoon onslaught featuring Deathro, Unsanitary Napkin, Cerebral Erosion, Sin Tax and Meanjin noise gremlin Puddle.

Doors 2pm at Footscray Park Bowls Club. $20 cash on the door. All ages. Free entry for mob, R100+
